This happened quite a while ago. A lone while ago. Back before I was married. Back when I was still single. About 25 years ago now.
There was a group of us who worked at the same company. On weekends we would go out and do things like bike rides and hiking. We also went swimming one night of the week. Our little group was made up of the four of us; Mark, Ann, Linda and myself (Peter). This particular weekend we had been hiking and had got back to Ann’s to unpack, clean up and go out for dinner.
