This happened leading up to New Year's Eve. I was 22, had just broken up with my live-in college girlfriend and moved back in with my parents in early December. I was drinking a lot, and playing a lot of video games with my younger brother to pass the depression while I looked for jobs. My brother and I were pretty close with our cousins, two girls who were our age. My cousins had two cousins who we used to see a lot when we were little, but moved to Virginia in middle school. The one, Megan, was a year older than me. She was a wild-child and kind of a fuck-up.
