I’m a PhD student at a university, where I also teach classes as an adjunct to freshmen and sophomores. Elizabeth was a senior who I had previously taught and got along very well with. She ran cross country for the college, but had gotten hurt and wouldn’t be able to compete for her senior season. Since she would have extra time on her hands, she approached me about being my TA.
